Vista-Push to talk problem
I've recently had Vista on my computer and everything went smoothly on Teamspeak until I entered a game in Call of Duty 2. From what I've experienced, I can hear everyone perfectly fine, but they can't hear me, only when I'm in-game. I've looked around and reinstalled Teamspeak but nothing has helped. Have any new updates been released that fix this problem?

Same problem here. You have to have the TS window select for push to talk to work correctly.

Not really. I've tested TS2 on Pre RC1, RC1 and RC2 versions of Vista, yes there was a problem with push-to-talk but it was more of a problem of chance. Sometimes it didnt work, sometimes it did. Vista is a completely new operating system with a new backbone infrastructure. There are bound to be problems, and it isn't Vista's fault.

I've tried to reproduce this issue on my office PC running with Windows Vista Build 6000. TeamSpeak 2's PTT function is working without any problems.

Bah, had to register just to say this..
I have the same problem everytime i click off the teamspeak program, i relised to make my games work i had to run them as Administrator.
I set teamspeak to run as administrator also, now whenever i use my key shortcuts ingame, they work.
right click ts icon, run as admin (or set it to always run as admin)
One problem i do still have, is teamspeak runs fine until i try draging someone from one channel to another, then the program lags out, will still let me move them, but there is no smooth draging to another channel, curser and name im moving lags all over the place.
Vista RTM build 6000.

Just like you Bray, i had to register just to say this...
Your solution worked perfectly, thank you very much.
Here is a solution to your problem but you may not like it.
On your desktop right click and then click personalization. If the different colors come up click the classic view or whatever it says at the bottom. Once the appearance window is up change it to anything besides the vista layout and everything should run smoothly again. I just happen to come across this and found out that there must be something wrong with the new layout.

I've clicked on the TeamSpeak Icon, clicked properties. Checked the box "Run this program in compatibiliy mode for:" chose Windows XP(Service Pack 2). Checked the box "Run this program as an Administrator".
This worked all of <maybe> 20 mins and then for some odd reason I couldn't be heard again.. Anyone else still having this problem even after making the above changes?

Vista and TS PTT issues
Read the post in the forum on running TS as administrator. It worked!!! I was having the same prob. When I launched an online game and used TS at the same time, I could only hear the players and not talk to them using the PTT. Seems to be working so far. So remember:
All Vista Users: right click on the "TS" desktop icon and select run as administrator..
Hope it works for everyone...
