More connection issues

First, let me say I am sorry for starting a new thread for an old issue, but the problem is my issue is so broad that my search returns too many threads which are close to my issue but dont exactly answer it.

So here's the issue: I created a server and see it listed on the public server list, but I cannot connect using my client. I get the no reply from server msg. Now, I assume (maybe incorrectly) that since I see my server listed that it is set up correctly, and I am able to connect to other servers from the list so I don't believe anything is wrong with my client. Yet, I cannot connect to my server.

I've seen threads saying something about open ports and behind routersd and yadayada, but...if this was the issue, wouldn't I be unable to connect to ANY servers?

P.S: if someone wants to log into my server just to see if they are able to, if you set yor filter to contains venom and USA you should find Venom with 0/500 users. That's me.
