Constant Noise

Hi,

When connecting to my Teamspeak while in Windows, I can talk normally to everyone. Everything basically works as should. Also in every game I play it works as it should, except for one. Red Orchestra Ostfront '41-45. As soon as I open it up, or join a server, my microphone just starts producing noises that no one on TeamSpeak can bear hearing. Since this is practically the only game I play a lot, also in clanplay, that just ain't working out for me. I want to actually be able to talk to my teammates since it's mostly a tactical shooter. However at the moment it just doesn't work.

Does anyone know what is happening, or what can solve this?

Cheers,

DeV

Do you have speakers close to your microphone?

(Red Orchestra = Good game)

Hi,
I guess I have the same problem as you mate.
When I am in windows talking to people they hear me loud and clear.
But when I am in the game (world of warcraft) it sounds like im in a helicopter when im talking.
The problem stops if I tab out and go to windows, but as soon as I enter the game, The helicopter returns.

If anyone have a solution to my problem, please write it here or in PM.

Cheers.

If it's a constant choppiness when you're in-game it sounds to me like an issue with cleanly processing the sound from the game *and* teamspeak.

I'd start by updating your sound card drivers (yes, even if you only checked yesterday - you never know, might find something new. )

The other item to check would be to make sure DirectX is up-to-date and not missing any files. For that, just re-run the DirectX installer from www.microsoft.com/directx.

While you're at it, update your video drivers as well. Anything that can make your system at large run smoother might sort out this problem as well.
