Voice Output through headphones

Is it possible to have the voice of my team-mates directed to the speakers in my headphones instead of my main speakers? I see no options through the teamspeak client options. My headphones have 2 inputs, one pink, and one black. I plugged both into the socket, but i also have 5.1 surround sound too. I would rather hear my mates through my headphones rather than hear BF2 in 5.1.

This is only possible with mutliple soundcards.

A given soundcard can only output through one source, so all sounds for that card go out whatever is plugged in (your speakers or your headset).

If you have multiple soundcards (including the "soundcard" that's detected with a USB headset) you can tell TeamSpeak which output device to use. At that point TeamSpeak will direct sounds out that card's output - while Windows continues to push system (and game) sounds out the "Default" windows card.

Hi, there must be a way to do this with a single sound card. I know the 360 can and I'm pretty sure it only was a single audio output. Somehow it splits the signal...if a console can do it a PC MUST be able to do it

NO.

If you are talking about an X-Box 360 headset... the signal is split. However, the input for the 360 console is designed for it to split into 1 mono input and 1 mono output... Similar to a cellphone headphone jack.

To use a 360 headset on a PC, you need a splitter to seperate the 2 signals into 2 mono plugs.
