TS crashes my comp??

hi all im new to the forums and TS so plz bear with me.

I use to use TS all the time going back a year with the same set up as ive got now.

now im trying to ues TS again but I seem to have a problem.

every time i start TS up i get a high pitched whine then the computer freezes.

I have a creative soundblaster card live 5.1

windows xp home edition

any ideas would be grateful.

problem doesnt happen if speakers or headphones are dis-connected

p.s this doesnt happen if i have the headphones or speakers dis-connected

maybe its just cos i havent set TS options up correctly or whether its a driver problem need pointing in the right direction if possible.

thanks.

Update your soundcard drivers.
Update/Repair your Direct X version
Uninstall and reinstall TeamSpeak (make sure to also add the newest "BETA" version of the client).
