Linux client bugs?
I was one of the guys egging you on to build a linux client some months ago. I'm glad to finally have one. But I am having considerable problems with it.
I'm using Mandrake 8.2 and just downloaded ts2_client_rc1_2026 <- is this the most recent version? Everytime I try to move the main window it shows "Integer Overflow". Everytime I move the screen it shows the error multiple times. It seams like a very simple problem to fix and I even noticed a post about it below but don't understand why the version I downloaded would still have the problem.
also when I exited a few times I get this error...
Exception EAccessViolation in module TeamSpeak.bin at 08069D71.
Access violation at address 4018BD9C, accessing address 40240048.
any help?

what checks does the installer perform to determine whether or not to add the Gnome and KDE shortcuts? i don't seem to have either of them, or at least, i can't find them
i am running Debian Woody with Gnome and even running TS RC2 as root from the command line i get the following error:
Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed
then a window appears with the following error:
Access violation at address 080863D0, accessing address 0000001A

Access violation...
I get an access violation @ address 080863D0 accessing address 0000001A. Seems like we all are trying to access same address.
I'm running debian woody, with an ALS100 soundcard (1st device) and a Philips Vesta Pro webcam with mic (2nd device).
I'd like a solution. The server version runs fine, but gives an error on start.

i rebuilt my laptop, so this time i decided to run KDE on Debian Woody instead of Gnome. KDE 2.2.2 is packaged with Woody. when i run TS RC2 via the supplied menu shortcut, i still get the same error as before:
Access violation at address 080863D0, accessing address 0000001A

Same here: SuSE 8.0, KDE. Did not find the shortcut, get an access violation when starting {$INSTALL_DIR}/TeamSpeak.

OK
Well,
first of all, are you guys trying this on the most recent developer release (2.0.28.42 would be your version string) ? If not, please re-try using it - you can find links to download in this forum section "Developer Releases". Then, it might be interesting what the logfile has to tell us - its usually situated in ~/.teamspeak/TSclient.log Maybe you post the contents of that file ?

Bugreport it then
Ok,
then the best idea is to go into the mantis bug-database (details in the devel-releases channel). Then you can submit the bug - please add as much information you know about it as you have....
