db rc1->rc2 converter
how to use it:
- install rc2 to a CLEAN new directory (DONT START IT)
- copy server.ini and server.db from your old rc1 to this new rc2 install directory
- copy this converter application to the new rc2 install directory
- run the rc2 converter application
- if all goes well, you will have an server.dbs file now, and your server.ini was deleted.
this will be created if you start the rc2 server.
*** IMPORTANT ***
- all channel -> user attribs will be lost [ChannelAdmin, AutoOp, AutoVoice, ChannelCommander]

If this is the case, then I would suggest NOT using the developer's edition. Use the public release found in the download section.
On another note, where could I find the developers edition of TS3 and/or any current versions. The ftp site seems to have an older version then what is released in the download section.
Thank you,
Xavierk

RC2 Database Converter
I was wondering if anyone has an updated link for the RC2 Database converter File. I have been running an old TS Server version and REALLY need to update but I do not want to loose ALL of my members info and user list, if someone could find a working FTP for this file it would be greatly appreciated!!

if you're running serverversion 2.0.19.x or newer, you won't lose some data if you update your server version. you also don't need the converter tool. you could also backup your server.dbs where all the information is saved to be sure that you wont lose the data if something goes wrong,.
