Locking Rooms

I'd like to see a feature where users can lock a room to prevent unwanted people from listening in. Thus if two teams are using teamspeak in a RTS game, you could set up rooms "US" and "THEM", people could join the rooms, and then participants in a room could choose to "lock" the room so that no one else could enter.

Thanks for listening. Teamspeak has made on-line gaming much more enjoyable.

Lightbulb Some new ideas

Lock = passworded channel?
That is a good idea!

I am sure that the next suggestion are mentioned before:
It would be nice if general TS server users can make channels (not only server admins). Just like at IRC.

The fist who joins a channel can "register" the channel by entering new admin password.

But if it is not registered it will disapear if there is no people in. So the registering of a channel is an option, not required.

To keep new channel list short as possible it is good to have somekind delay before make a channel absolutely static.

For example if admin have not loged on in the newly maked channel in three (3) days it will be automatically unregistered.

So if I host a TS server it will be free for all...

Here comes new idea:
The server should have at least 2 modes:
1) Privat (i.e only server admin can make new channels)
2) FFA (Free For All - all users can make new channels and be an operator there).

.... and nick registering would be good option here.

Thank you for your attention

And one more thing.

It is very needed that server admin can "drag" users to another channel where is his/her place

Much of that will be in 2.0, although the exact way it works will be a bit different from IRC.
