TS not working ingame

hey,

i just installed team speak for use with Call of Duty 4.
On its own the program works and i can talk with people fine. As soon as i enter the game though, i cannot transmit. I can still hear everyone speaking as usual, but nothing i say goes through.

Even when i alt+tab out of the game and try run the microphone test in TS i get no playback of myself.

Once i close the game. It works fine.

Im running XP with a standard Soundblaster 5.1 VX

With Ventrillo I have been having a similar problem. It was easily fixed though, simply by alt tabbing out of game and fixing my input volume.
Once i do that i can go back in game and its fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

Possibly CoD changes your mixer settings.

At best you can disable CoD's ingame voice tool (if some exists?!).
At the worst you need to reset your mixer settings everytime you start the game.

We have some similar threads (problems with CoD or games in general). Please use the forum search before starting a new thread.
This problem has been already mentioned a few times in this forum.
