Problem with server

hi.
i've recently rented a server, but unfortunately it seems not to work. i've recieved the ip of the server, but when i try to connect i recieve the error 'bad login/password' or that the server may be offline or i have another ts client version. when i try to log in the website in admin panel i recieve the communicate that my ip has been banned and i dunno why. also when i try to log in to my admin panel and i tap correct admin login and pw it tells me 'login failed' and back to page. my friends when trying to connect has this 'bad login name or password' error too ; / wtf ? ; / someone can help me plx ?
