Ok Once again the Download for my German Text-to-Speech Modification


Just Download and sttart the Installer for install or The Uninstaller to uninstall my Soundpack.

The Soundpack gets updated recently.

Sometimes the Installer is not changeing the default TTS Language

Win-XP : System Control>Speech In-/output or Sound In-/Output depends on Operating System. Then change it to "ScanSoft Steffi_Dri40_16kHz"

Win Vista/Seven :
Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Ease of Access "->" Speech "

After just Restart Teamspeak3 and you should have a german Text-To-Speech.

I have written a new german "settings.ini" for the german soundpack because the old one had some grammatikal (i hope its the right word ) errors.

place it in TS root --> "Sound" --> "default_speech"

default_speech updated automatically at every Client Update.

Make an own Folder and put it in.

I am working on an UPdater which checks if my ini is installed if not it will overwrite it by default.

Hi,

i have Win 7 64bit, installed this File, but i can´t switch to German. In the Menu there is only English. Is there any chance to install this on 64Bit?

you have to do it like this:

go to "systemsteuerung" (sry )
type at search: "text-zu-sprache" (sry, but i have to write this part on german ) open "Einstellungen für text-zu-sprache ändern" . choose at the dropdown menu "ScanSoft Steffi" (and so on) and klick on "ok".

now it must work (you dont have to change any on the Teamspeak client)

after installation, i have no entry about Steffi, only Anna english. I don´t understand this.

I did read that "Steffi" is only a 32 bit version TTS voice and i can't find a 64 bit voice...

yeah this i found to... but the voice is english... in the windows settings there i cant select the german one... evene after install steffi....
where i have to set up things?
EDIT:
ah i see the post above me... is it really because of 64bit?

yes, there are no sounds for the 64 bit version of windows.
