Peperoni, it looks like the Admin table was not created in your database. Did you run the install.php script?
B.Webeler, are you still having this problem?

Since I switched refresh off it worked.
Looked like a bug in the script. I checked the DB after install, all data in the admin table was correct.
The I checked the webpage, everything ok. After klicking on details (was just one server in the list) I got the error above.
When I reloaded PHPMyAdmin all data in the admin table was lost.
So I had to setup the admin page again.
After a few tests I backuped the admin table and tested again. Every time refresh was on the admin table was dropped.
With Auto Refresh = off it runs stable since 2 days.

I had the same thing happen. Upgraded from 3.1.1 to 4.0.2. Had auto refresh on and within a day I had lost the admin table. Turned off auto refresh after seeing your post, and haven't had a problem for 4 days now.
I don't know php well (yet), but am learning. I'll see if I can come up with something constructive to add after looking through it some.
Overall it's a fantastic script.

I have this exact same problem, and it's true, since I leave the auto refresh checkbox alone....It runs ok....except for another issue wich involves the admin page.. But I've mentioned that one in another thread.....
Back to this issue : Is there a solution for this issue yet ?
btw : everytime you do a refresh of the page with the error message, the number changes

I have the same problem since 3 days.
So i put the script on a another server. and install all stuff.
After 5 minutes working, the same error Message.
Why from yesterday to day and why many user has this ?
In the time that work, i have every time seen an sql update error message, so i think its, because the auto update.
So i try an new installation and klick the update on off.
When it work, than i´m write it here again.
Sorry for my Bad Englisch !

ok, in the moment it works.
It works longer than 5 minutes.
Only what i have make other is
Go to Admin Panel -> Settings -> and than klick
"Check For Updates :
If you want the admin panel to automatically check for updates check yes."
to "NO"
So i dont get on the main window (admin/index.php) no error messages. When i make the update to yes i get error messages !
I think that the autoupdate try to fix the bugs with updates and kill the database, or anythink else. I dont know, but it works.
Sorry for my bad English.
