QuakeCon 2002

I know this is off topic for TS but man did anyone else listen in the the RTCW match today from QuakeCon between clan Doctors from Canada, USA, and Infensus from Sweden?
I wonder what voice com they used? No one could play that fast as a team without some way of keeping object in place without a voice com. Oh well 25.000 US isn't to bad of a pay off for being a gamer.

It was a 6 man team so I wonder do they yell over to each other or use TS or somthing else to keep the game tactics in play. I just don't see how a fast game like RTCW could be played with headphones on and yelling over to each other. Can't see it myself.
Maybe they had preset operations for each map. It sure would be good to know how these clans make it to $25,000 US.

In most cases the team members are so well practiced, and so in tune with the game they are playing, and with their team, that very little communication is needed. What is needed is usually pre-scripted and is just bound to keystrokes. Voice chat usually just serves as a distraction.
