FPS drops makes TS2 choppy, or not..

My brother and i have been experimenting with Teamspeak 2, i just LOVE the way it works and i think you guys did an awesome job. My opinion is that Teamspeak 2 rocks the voice com. world

However, i did discover one little problem. My brother's graphics board is a geforce 2 mx, in Soldier of fortune 2 this means he gets occasional FPS drops depending on what map is on and the amount of players on the server. And it seems these FPS drops make the TS input and output sound go choppy on his side. We have tested this thouroughly and it really seems the FPS drops cause this.

The teamspeak server is running on a local network so i don't think it can have anything to do with bandwidth and his cpu is a 1200 Mhz athlon. And it only seems to happen with Teamspeak 2.

I just hope we're doing something wrong here, but i haven't been able to figure out what. So far i tried closing as much as unneeded background applications. And i lowered all of Soldier of Fortune II's graphical settings and we switched to Wave instead of DirectSound. But even the slightest drop seems to make his Teamspeak 2 go choppy :/ Can anyone help?

Try entering Settings >> Options >> Other there you should have
a option called Process Priority, try changing it from Normal to
Real Time.

Thanks m8, this fixed the problem for other users, nto for me though, i changed it to realtime and i still hear them choppy, but they don't hear me choppy.

I'm sure it's got to be me since i heard the "Player left" sound choppy too. Any ideas? Anyone?

Hmm....

Have you tried switching sound device

for instance if your running Wave sound device
try changing to Direct Sound see if it helps you.

Also, there's another thread about it here: http://forum.teamspeak.com/show...8&goto=newpost

It seems there's no 'fix' yet for some people.
