The name resolution seems to work now, but now I got the problem that I can't connect anymore via the domain. If I join via the IP it works.

I receive the error: "Verbindung zum Server fehlgeschlagen"

The TS Client log shows this error:
"15.01.2017 11:49:52 UDPClient Error Es konnte keine Verbindung hergestellt werden, da der Zielcomputer die Verbindung verweigerte"

    Still getting deprecated warning

Successfully updated to TS3 3.1 "Cloud" 64-bit client. However, after installed the new version when I log in to my TS3 Server (as Admin), I still get a notice that the version is "deprecated".

That has nothing to do with the server or client version (except that the message is new with 3.1+ clients).

In any case the reason is (as explained in the linked FAQ article) that the client has to guess where to find the TSDNS server, which is deprecated.
To fix this, simply create an SRV record for your server.

    _ts3._udp.mydomain.tld. 86400 IN SRV 10 50 9987 domainOfServer

where mydomain.tld is whatever you wish to (or used to) enter in the client to connect.
domainOfServer MUST be a domain name that has at least one A (and/or AAAA) record pointing to the IP address of the TeamSpeak server.
When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.

Hi Ch Chris. Thanks for your reply.

Although I am Domain and Site Owner for The Elder Sages' Guild on our host Enjin, as well as TS3 Server Admin, I do not have full control of the TS3 Voice server underlying code. Therefore I forwarded your response to Enjin Support. They may need to create the SRV record, or tell me where and how I can create it. I'll also forward the FAQ to Enjin Support (if I can find it again).
