I think OPs idea was that you have some permanent chat. There is no need for all channels to retain the chat log, but for some it might be worth it.

I suspect your first point.
It was an example. But it doesn't matter.
Braindead people will still spam the list.
Teamspeak does not do that on it's own (you could use a default channel for that) but you can use server query for this. If you don't want to program all by yourself you can use this for example:
...
The "servers" are the spam.
Easy fix would be to connect to the server and check if the name matches the reported name from the list. Because in this case it doesn't.
Yeah, Electron takes its share.
Just how "temporary" are your passwords then?
Teamspeak won't use such an antiquitated date order.
If they really focus on privacy they should remove the blacklist check. AFAIR teamspeak (the company) knows when and to which server you connect to. Or is it a list you download prior to connecting?
Generally speaking: probably. But look at the core audience here, mobile is the minority. What would be nice are chat channels with persistent history, like Discord. Then an app could be useful. In...
Just read their ToS or request a GDPR data dump. You'll see a lot.
Easier: a oneliner curl call vs. multiple lines
The "faster" is meant as faster development time, because you don't need wo waste time implementing a broken telnet interface. Performance would not...
Have fun on a platform where every conversation is recorded.
TLS is for transport. It takes care that data is sent from the server to you, unmodified. If it is modified on the way, you'll get a certificate warning. No chance there with HTTP.
Because it is easier and faster to use common HTTP libraries than to use telnet parsing. Including \r\n.
Probably some REST style interface. Would be nice, arguably better then the telnet query.
A client that doesn't count to the maximum allowed clients. It is by no means a "normal" client.
But I get it.
German (IBM), why?
Thread title says it.
Currently it's:
virtualserver_clientsonline=100
virtualserver_queryclientsonline=100
Money you have now is more worth then money you have in X days.
Just kick the people then. Otherwise it's a client side issue (be it human or ts3 client).
First one: no, the design works and it should generally stay that way. Maybe add some form of chat panel similar to Discord with consistent chat, that's it. At least for desktop, haven't used the...
Dann sehe ich das Problem nicht
Kommt darauf an. Wenns nur UDP-Müll ist ja. Wenns aber "emulierte" Verbindungen zum Server sind (mit dem Ziel Ressourcen zu verschwenden) gehörts ins Log.
if you want whatsapp, just use yowsup.
"abstrampeln" ist wohl übertrieben. Diese Art sollte leicht mit zB http://ts3admin.info/ lösen lassen.
tls is for tcp. what you probably mean is dtls.
Sync is nice and all, but I have never had the desire to sync Teamspeak addons or identity. It is simpler to either: ask someone to give you back your rights; or give them yourself in case you are...
This attack can happen anywhere in between the server and the client. No need for that to happen in datacenters.
I too think that this attack isn't easy to do. HTTPS Downloads are not that hard to...
To make sure that you don't get malicious files by someone who performs MITM on you.
They could provide such a service too. Maybe not directly with SSH, but there is also stunnel.
You can use SSH tunneling yourself.

No. Which is a good thing.
