You don't need one. If you don't have one you can run the server without one. The only difference is that you can only use 1 virtual server and have a maximum of 32 clients on it.

From what is stated here it sounds like a ban is added for every person trying to join without a mytsid.

Channels are not being subscribed.
Out of nowhere my client didn't sub to all channels automatically.
In Design > Channel Tree > I ticked the first box and set the layer to 0 but it still doesn't...

But isn't the channel of the joining user given as new_channel_id thus I don't need to get "mover_channel"?
