I'm afraid you probably need to disable your pulse audio, and use only the ALSA drivers for your sound. I also use mandriva. By doing this i was still able to hear everything else just fine, and that...
I'm not getting much help from here on TS3 issues, and I think its because my OS is something that no one else here uses.
So, I'm thinking of Switching to Kubuntu. I am a KDE user and maybe I can...
OK, so......
By looking at all this, is it something I did, or is it something you guys have done?
I haven't heard back for nearing a week now.

OK, so I went in and trashed your qt files from the program, I get farther until it trys to load the qtconf from the newly created .ts3client... At least thats farther. This tells me that the qt...
OK, Peter. What are the locations of these libraries you packed with it? So i can try and export QTDIR= and maybe export QT_PLUGIN_PATH=
I don't know what I'm doing with this, but its better than...
I just tried again, with my . folder removed as well. Still the same. Any idea yet why?
Is there anyone else getting this? or is it just me?

I just opened ts3, and was informed of a new update, so i opted to close and update. After which it aborts instantly. With this message in konsole:

Wow! thanx Amios! That looks great!
well, then. Maybe its pulse audio that is the problem. I disabled mine. As did many other linux users. Currently there is a cpu buffer issue with fmod (a component used by PA) that causes 100% cpu...
hmm,
looks like it might be the tts then, even if you are using the soundpack.
looks like you need to install ktts. you may need a talker as well. Festvox should come with your distro, they have...
I too use Mandriva 2010. I have disabled Pulse audio on my machine, and TS3 now runs fine.
also I'd like to note that pulse audio does nothing for me anyhow, as everything else runs fine without it...
here is a simple shell script that will do it. If you aren't familiar with shell scripts, I'd google it. But I will try to explain.
You will open a text editor like kwrite or gedit, and put the...
I believe you might be right. Why don't you use the sound pack instead?
this is changed from here:

There you have the option of Default soundpack, or...

OK. I'm happy to say I finally got it working on my own.
I'm not sure of all that was necessary, but this is what i have done.
I updated my KDE to 4.4 this morning, then fully disabled pulse...
Can we get some kind of verification that a team speak staff member has at least noticed the existence of this topic? Or are there just to many bug reports to go through?
I gotta an idea, take...
I'm having the same problem as well.
Just tried the beta13 minutes ago. All I know is that every other audio program I use works with ALSA. Teamspeak never has. TS2 even takes over the entire...
