They didn't forget, you have to fill out some details for them and then they will send you their complete SDK with an evaluation license.

If you start TeamSpeak 5 for the first time, you won't have any contacts, it's not like TS3. The person you want to add to your Contacts needs the TeamSpeak 5 Client to accept the request. :)

This is only for you, so if you don't like to see the Badges of other Users, you can disable it.
