Hello,

I second this as it is highly inefficient and time consuming to replicate the whole permissions set of a channel or set of channels, when it would be easier to copy a predefined template as stated...
I thought icons were arranged by the sort order of their computationally calculated CRC32 checksums. And further to that you DO NOT rearrange icons you rearrange GROUPS :p
They are spacer channels and can be created by right clicking on the server name at the top and clicking create spacer.
An example name to use for a line would be [spacer0]___ (3 Underscores _)
Contact the host and get them to perform a permissions reset
Just block port 2010 (TCP) outbound then the server list will not work :)
Did anyone actually figure out a way to do this, as I would be interested in doing it as well :P
It means you must update the server to a newer version.
Within the last 12 hours I have noticed an issue where the ban system is inadequate for keeping clients from reconnecting once they have been banned from the server. There has been a troll that keeps...
What about if your router's DHCP server uses Class A or Class B addresses? :D
PM me the IP, and I shall come and check the groups :D
This can be done with channel groups, all you do is set a needed join power on the channels e.g. a needed join power of 10, then make a channel group with 10 join power. Duplicate the channel group...
The icon for client "" (0) was not found, means that it is an icon assigned to an individual client that cannot be found in your cache folder or the servers icon folder. You will have to manually go...
I need to know what permission ID #77 relates to but cannot find the answer on google or in any documentation.
Thanks
***Resolved - Found an old post with the "permissionlist" command, which...
User 1 has Client Move Power 75 0 0
User 2 has Client Move Power 0 0 0
Would it be possible to make a PHP script to rename a channel when the channel contains clients?, and if so, how would I go about doing this?
I would set the channel's needed join power to 75
This could easily be done with channel groups with different levels of join power & join permissions, and for really secure channels remove b_channel_join_permanent, b_channel_join_semi_permanent,...
^^ What Morthawt said is true, the same goes for the i_channel_needed_description_view_power & i_channel_needed_subscribe_power, if you set the needed on the group to a lower value, as long as the...
That usually happens when the client in particular is on the same network as the server running the TeamSpeak 3 Server Software.
It does not show the country flag because he has connected using...
I made a similar script a while ago, that writes to a MySQL database first to check for any duplicates, then if no duplicate is found, it will write it to the TSDNS settings. I have tested it on...

You can set defaults in the contacts list as shown in the image. Just go to Tools >> Contacts >> Set defaults button
You might want to check out the youtube videos @ https://www.youtube.com/user/TutsTeach. The videos cover most if not all the aspects of the permissions system, in detail, and covers many things you...
I changed the permissions on the icons to 666 as you described, then cleared the cache completely. I reconnected to the server, and checked the client log. It still writes messages about failing to...
The server has probably more than 100 icons, so the only way to find out which one it would be is to upload the whole lot, which I have done.
Just to second this, the latest client doesn't work on Debian 7 Wheezy x64 either.
I have a problem with my client downloading icons from my TeamSpeak Server.
Every time i view the client log, it says Error: Error downloading icon: 2049, even though all the groups have a max...
I have seen servers with more, one in particular usually has nearer 100+ server groups, and there is no problems with that.
lukasjanra,
The simple way to run it would be directly on the server if you can, but if you have to use PuTTY, then install "screen" if it is not already installed. You can do this by typing at...
You can check the server logs, either in the TeamSpeak client or in the server folder itself, if you have access to it.
Only the admins of the particular server can unban you, as TeamSpeak is not a centralised system, meaning that each TeamSpeak Instance is separate from another.
You cannot suppress their rights to perform a client side mute as it doesn't require any permissions to be granted, in order to do so. That's the whole point of the ability to be able to mute a user...
You also need ports 41144 (TCP) for TSDNS as well if you need it, and 2010 (TCP) for the weblist, if you want your server to be reported to the server list.

There shouldn't be any problems as the license permits a maximum of 2 virtual servers with a combined total of 512 slots.
