Hi,
having checked the Client SDK Developer Manual for information about multithreading I found the note on page 4 claiming that Client Lib functions are thread-safe. Which leads to my...
most unlikely to happen.
i would guess that the demand for a sparc version be it linux or solaris isn't high enough to justify a port it.
best regards
tried a newer buid (beta11)? does the problem persist?
tried a different machine?
best regards
i guess the solution is much easier but might be not completely obvious at first:
If you want to send a user a "registered" login to the server, generate a token with the permissions you want your...
that might really be problem. It doesn't need to be bugs could also be unimplemented features.
I would second the idea of at least being able to lock out beta client in the final version.

there is no sparc version of ts3.
But you could of course try to convince/persuade/bribe the developers to port it to that platform. At least if you are running linux on your sparc system it sounds...
regarding stability please keep in mind that ts3 just recently enter beta status. This does not seem to be the time to make a final assessement of stability. I would at least wait for the final...
the problem is not bandwidth usage on a loaded server. The initial post (and me also) was concerned about the bandwidth _one_ idle client would consume with absolutly no voice traffic transmitted....
after thinking about it and looking at the different ways ts2 and ts3 display data in their respective "Server Connection info" window i might have an explanation for why we see the "dramatic"...
that might explain some of what is displayed in the connection info window. But i also _meassured_ the displayed amount of traffic while (and only while) the connection info window was displayed. ...
then consider yourself a lucky guy
i looked into this high idle traffic issue a bit more found some interesting things: while the idle bandwidth usage of ts3 is higher than that of ts2 the actual difference is not as big as one might...
and still the question remains if this traffic is intentional or due to the beta state.
If the idle traffic stays at this level in the final version there is no way for me to deploy ts3 as a...
@azzy101 that is 700bytes per second!!! which is definitly not "tiny". Do the math yourself what it means for a loaded server.
@Stefan1200 these measures are not codec, it is just keep alive and...
@Master_d how did you measure these 250ms? does it _feel_ like 250ms oder is there any evidence. Is this reproducable?
i have stumbled upon these figures a few days before but didn't pay any attention... but seeing your post on this topic i rechecked with most recent clients on linux and winxp. I can absolutly...
