If you indeed made the cnages, then wait for them to propagate through cloudfucking.
If you did not made changes, then what you expect from us?

Then forget it. You are not ready to host your server.

ANR Daemon is telling you that the DNS entries you showed in your screenshots are not live. They are not visible on the Internet. In whatever admin interface you entered them: they are not active for the Internet. You have to activate them somehow.

The entries themselves seem to be correct.

Post TeamSpeak 3 DNS SRV records

    Hi guys,

somehow i'm trying to connect to my TS3 Server via my own Domain Name. Based on this FAQ i did try to conigure the DNS Setup.

My SRV record is not working. Please let me shortly explain the issue.

I have a Server which is running under IP 213.202.206.200 and port 10770. My hoster also provided a short dns name "fcopz.ts.ngz.at". But i would like to use my own Domain in as DNS Name. E.g.: teamspeak.fcopz.com

I'm not really sure how the DNS SRV record should look like in my case. If possible if my TS3 Client is trying to connect to teamspeak.fcopz.com it should be forwarded to 213.202.206.200:10770.

Do we have a professional here?

    THX

    That's not a domain name, that's a hostname.

Just the way it is explained in the FAQ.
Just the way it is explained in the relevant RFC.

    Code:
_service._protocol.location. SRV priority weight port host.
In your case, (assuming you do want to describe service for domain!)

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.

Hi Daemon. You are right. teamspeak.fcopz.com is a HOST A entry.

Right now i'm using this entry together with the port, to connect my TS3 server: teamspeak.fcopz.com:10770

Additionally i already made a SRV entry. It Looks the same style as you have proposed. See the current DNS config in the screen.

I'm really confused now. Maybe i should change the SRV entry to this one?

    Code:
    _ts3._udp. SRV 1 10 10770 teamspeak.fcopz.com.

The last thing should be "213.202.206.200.ngz-server.de." instead of "fcopz.ts.ngz.at.". You must not use IPs for SRV. You must point it to an A record.

The point was not if it has A record in DSN, but that it IS a HOST name. Not a domain name.
Again, for the N'th time, SRV is designed to aid in discovery of various services within given domain.
Thus, by telling an SRV-aware program A (which is using protocol B) to connect to the domain example.org, you essentially telling it "hey, I know this domain is supposed to support this protocol. Go ahead and discover its entry point, then connect me to it."
At which point the program sends request "_B._<basicproto>.example.org. SRV?", and is given answer "yes, here's a <list of entry points>" or "no, SRV 0 0 0 ." (dot as a host in SRV record = full stop, we do NOT want these connections, tell your master to go away).

Thus, the question is not how you HAVE your DNS set, but how you WANT it to be set.

Right now i'm using this entry together with the port, to connect my TS3 server: teamspeak.fcopz.com:10770

    Code:
    _ts3._udp. SRV 1 10 10770 teamspeak.fcopz.com.
First, the record named "_ts3._udp." (the last dot IS significant!) will describe a TS3 service for the WHOLE INTERNET (the domain name is empty).
Second, it is better to use real host name associated with yor service, as provided by the owner of the IP address.
Because IP address MAY change without your prior knowledge, but if you have business relation regarding particular service provided by the address owner, the name he have associated with your service should point to a new address. Assuming the owner has his mind about his business.

In short, I already provided a complete and exact record you should have in your DNS to be able to use your domain name "fcopz.com" to connect to your TS server with minimum effort.

The address is actually fcopz.ts.ngz.at. As much as I don't trust a third-hand information, the support gave that guy the right data, and he managed to pass it to us undamaged.

Yep, after some replication time, this works Daemon!

    Thanks a lot.

Hi Daemon, sorry for boring you again regardaing to this topic. I know the mentioned setup above is working. But due to the fact the optimum solution is, that i can use "teamspeak.fcopz.com" instead "fcopz.com" for the TS3 connect, i modified the existing value from

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.
    to

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.teamspeak.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.
It's not working. Is there any possibilty at all?

Is there a reason for that? Is that TS not related to "fcopz.com" domain purpose?
I remind you that SRV records are designed to improve discoverability and network cohesion.

i modified the existing value from

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.
    to

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.teamspeak.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.
It's not working. Is there any possibilty at all?
It should work. May be you didn't wait long enough for record to propagate through all servers.
Overall, if you are not editing record VALUE (right part), you are better off ADDING a new record.

Unfortunately it's still not working. I did delete the whole SRV record 4 hours ago and create a new one with:

    Code:
    _ts3._udp.teamspeak.fcopz.com. SRV 1 10 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.

To answer your question. For sure our TS is related to "fcopz.com" domain purpose. But the hostname teamspeak.fcopz.com is in use for almost 10 years now.

    Any other ideas? ^^

Again, you're making wrong assumptions and by the extension, making wrong resolutions.
People who're using teamspeak.fcopz.com:10770 as their current bookmark will still be able to connect as long as the IP:port is unchanged. This is independent of SRV records, as they have explicitly specified the endpoint.

However, for new connections and the future compatibility with potential server moves, you should consider setting your record the right way.

I presume, you want "teamspeak.fcopz.com" SRV record under assumption that it would help those people using host:port bookmarks… but as I said already, you can't help them, as their TS client will never look up SRV record - the port is already given.

    P.S.
Your DNS record is seen just fine from here.
    Code:
    ;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION:
    ; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 4096
    ;; QUESTION SECTION:
    ;_ts3._udp.teamspeak.fcopz.com. IN SRV

    ;; ANSWER SECTION:
    _ts3._udp.teamspeak.fcopz.com. 7200 IN SRV 10 0 10770 fcopz.ts.ngz.at.
