    Pulseaudio, Teamspeak, High CPU Usage

    Hi!

Im experiencing high cpu usage (about 20-30%) with teamspeak on gentoo linux.
Already tried a new .ts3client profile and different pulseaudio versions, but nothings helps.

    Any ideas?

    Greetings,
    styx

The problem exists in the linux client software, not the server. can restarting the server solve a clientside problem?

Try to disable animated GIF support. This may result in a significantly lower CPU usage on some environments.

Go to "Options" -> "Design" -> at the lower right corner you'll find two "Animated GIF support" options. Uncheck them, then click "Apply".

Let me know if this helps.
