I would be pleased if you maybe post a link to this thread.

I was wondering what the bb code is so that I can put into a channel description like my name and if you click on it it will come up with the same options if you were to right click someones name

I need to know where I can find this "DBID / UID" to be able to complete this code URL = client: // DBID / UID] Some username here /URL

You need the current Client ID and not the Client Database ID.
Just drag and drop the user into the chat (where you would type your text) and you get the link and requested information.
Or install a theme where both are shown or use the ServerQuery to catch this information.

Is there a way to use this for server icons? My webinterface (Psychokiller) gives me name and id of the icon, but I don't know which of the parameters are necessary and simplying trying the following didn't work (obviously %TEXT% is just a placeholder):
If I had to take a guess I'd say the path and/or channel is missing, maybe also isDir or size or fileDateTime.Code:[IMG]ts3file:// %SERVERIP% ?port= %PORT% &serverUID= %SERVERUID% &filename= %NAME% [/IMG]
However, I know little to nothing about the syntax here, so any help is appreciated!![]()
I never thought about that. But yes it is possible trough bbcode.
Here is an example:
Code:[URL=ts3file://123.123.123.123?port=9987&serverUID=xyz&channel=0&filename=icon_50853132&isDir=0]Server_icon.jpg[/URL]
Edit
But you have to live with errors in client log (Error Error querying channel name).
The ts3file code isn't made to download icons from channel 0![]()

Thanks for the quick reply!
However, I forgot to add that I need to use this with the [IMG] command (so it's displayed in e.g. a channel description).
Based on your answer I managed to get the location of the icon (thanks for that) and tried to get it to work, but no success.
This is what I tried so far (I know that barely any of this makes a lot of sense based on how [IMG] works - didn't keep me from trying):
Also: is it possible to do this with having the icon as a '.png' file saved in a channel?Code:[IMG]ts3file:// %SERVERIP% ?port=9987&serverUID= %SERVERUID% &channel=0&filename=icon_2105282937&isDir=0[/IMG] [IMG]ts3file:// %SERVERIP% ?port=9987&serverUID= %SERVERUID% &channel=0&filename=icon_2105282937&isDir=0.png[/IMG] [IMG][URL=ts3file:// %SERVERIP% ?port=9987&serverUID= %SERVERUID% &channel=0&filename=icon_2105282937&isDir=0].png[/URL][/IMG] [IMG][URL=ts3file:// %SERVERIP% ?port=9987&serverUID= %SERVERUID% &channel=0&filename=icon_2105282937&isDir=0]icon_2105282937.png[/URL][/IMG] [IMG]channelid://0/icon_2105282937[/IMG]
Yes please upload the icons into a channel where every user on server could download files from and then link these images into the channel.
Can be done from filebrowser via drag and drop into channel description editor.
Link should look like:
Code:[IMG]ts3image://alert.png?channel=23&path=/[/IMG]

Thanks once again, I already forgot the content of the 5 posts before mine...
One thing I noticed, tho (I don't know whether this is a bug or not, but I think it is worth mentioning it):
When using [IMG] the image is ~5 pixels to high (or a third of the height of a default sized character). While this doesn't sound like much, when using the default text size this is clearly visible:
You might notice that the forum has exactly the same issue.
When using a bigger size (e.g. 20 in TS3 and 8 in the forum), it is centered, but the aspect ratio isn't correct anymore:
Forum text
Is there an explanation for this?
I am looking for a Funktion to Mark the nickname in the Chanel Desorption.
List of all possible commands in channel Desorption.
Thank you in advance![]()

Guess with mark you do not mean "take my mouse and mark it the known way" ?
Just drag and drop a user into the description editor and you will get the name "clickable" after saving the channel description.
List: use BBCode and you may look here.
