Backup XP Pro TS3 Server ready for Win 7 Ultimate?

Hi all,

I run a private TS3 server and am in the process of finally getting onto Windows 7 OS. I need help in backing up my server settings as no idea where to start. Searched the forum and couldn't find any similar post regarding change of Windows OS.

I have my TS3 server installed in the non-OS drive directory "D:\TS3". To update the server I have always simply copied over the files and over-writen without any of my settings (inc users, permissions etc) disappearing.

Can I simply do the same as mentioned in the previous paragraph or is that not the recommended way of backing up my server this time round when updating to the TS3 Win 7 64 bit version?

You can just boot into new OS and launch your server, like nothing happened.
If you see the need to upgrade to 64-bit executables, that shuld be a matter of dumping them over your existing installation.

Assuming you mean over-write? clarify.

If you do a clean install of teamspeak 3 server on the new machine, copy over (and if necessary overwrite) those files from the old server into the new server directory and it should all be the same
