TeamSpeak freezes after trying to edit nickname in default identity

I have the following problem with TeamSpeak 3.0.16:

If I select "Settings", "Identities" and then edit the nickname of my "Standard" identity and press OK, then the TeamSpeak GUI completely freezes and doesn't recover anymore within the next five minutes. If I'm connected to a server I can still talk and listen, but the user interface is completely frozen and it is not redrawn anymore and doesn't react to any input. I have to close Teamspeak by forcing it in the taskbar or by using the Taskmanager. Trying to set a Phonetic Nickname for my "Standard" identity has the same effect.

However if I don't change anything at my default identity, pressing OK doesn't cause a freeze. Furthermore I can edit the nickname of other identities without any problems. I don't know if it matters, but Security Level of my "Standard" identity is 32. My other identities only have 20.

Another user at my Teamspeak server has the same problem. But the problem also happens when I'm not connected to any server.

I don't know if this problem already existed in earlier versions of TeamSpeak.

We are aware of a small freeze, when an identity nickname was changed, while you have some bookmarks using this idenity.
All Bookmarks are updating during this.

How many bookmarks use this identity?
    what CPU do you have?

    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, E8400 @ 3,00GHz
Number of Bookmarks: 96 (all of them are using the standard identity)

I have checked my bookmarks. All of them had a Phonetic Nickname set to the value from my test, but the standard identity was not changed.

Collected within 3,5 years of MMORPG. Well, I have to admit that about 50% of them are dead. I'm too lazy to sort them out. But the others are really used when needed. And those which are used on a regular basis (about 10%) are organized.

Client 3.1 will remove & replace the feature that renaming the identity renames the set nickname in your bookmarks.

In client 3.1 you need to remove the nickname from bookmark(s).
The client will use the nickname that is set in your selected identity.
