    Question TS3 v3.0.16 : can't connect to server

Good day and thanks for trying to help out.

I used to connect to the same server all the time. One day, it stopped working and now I can't connect the server. This happened before I updated to v3.0.16. After updating, the problem was still there, so figured it's not related to TS versions.

Here's a list of what I tried (but all these gave no results) :
-Uninstalling AVG anti virus (was updated roughly around the time the problem came about)
-Disabling windows firewall before connecting to server, from the control pannel / firewall / turn off firewalls

I use window 7, I have Avast anti virus installed. My friends can still connect to the server in question, and I don't get a message that I'm banned or something.

Here is my TS log when I try to connect to my TS server :

It seems there isn't any server running at the default port.
For getting information, you should contact to other users or the server admin or the domain owner.

What should I ask the server admins about? What information do I need?

Well, you can't connect to the server because, almost sure, the server is stopped or it's working in other port or address. It's not an issue with the TS3 client neither your computer and, sure, you aren't banned.

So, who knows what is really happening with this server?. The server admin or the domain owner. You should to contact them for knowing what it's happening with the server. This information is not available in this forum, unless any of them, or any other user of that server, is reading this thread...

    Thanks for your replies.

I'll try to investigate along those lines. However, something bothers me with your hypothesis : my friends can still log on the server and I know that they did not change anything in their teamspeak settings or the adress they use to connect. So why me?

Again, I will try and grab and admin to ask as you mentioned, but maybe this additionnal info changes something?

    I made it work!

Turns out, i needed to have the ortnumber after the adress. I didnt figure this out because i alwaus connected with the adress alone.

My friends were using the ortnumber, wich allowed them to log on. Thanks to your analysis of my log, I was able to focus on the adress problem isntead of firewalls and whatnot. Thank you very much!
