Thanks for sending us the Non-Profit License.
Unfortunately, we cannot activate the licensekey.dat

Ii've received this e-mail but there is a problem..
You sent me a windows Non-Profit Licence, and we requested a linux Non-Profit Licence.
    How can we resolve this?
Could be possible to exchange the windows licence to linux one?

    Conngratulations!

Your TeamSpeak 3 Non-Profit License has now been issued.

    TO ACTIVATE YOUR LICENSE:
    1) Place the attached licensekey.dat file on the root directory of your TeamSpeak 3 Server installation folder.
    2) STOP AND RESTART the TeamSpeak 3 Server master binary (exe) process.

Please DO NOT share your licensekey.dat file with ANYONE outside of your registered organization. Doing so may cause your license to be SUSPENDED.

    Thank you.

First notice there is a license por windows and other for linux. How do you think, or where in the e-mail it's said, you have received a windows license?

In any case, you should look into the server log files, specially the _0.log one, and there you'll find information, or clue, about what is happenning when the server starts with the license file.

Do you know that INI stuff doesn't really work properly in 3.0.10.3 (and because of documentation errors will not work properly anytime soon)? However, that seems to be the default path, so it doesn't care.

Anyway, your key file is corrupted. Please use working email software.

I've already sent a ticket, I hope they help me.

To be sure your licensekey.dat file is "ready for work",
Open your licensekey.dat file with any text editor (like notepad, nano).
Your file should looks like this:
    Code:
    Company name : *****
    address : *****
    zipcode : *****
    city : *****
    country : *****
    phone : *****
    fax :
    sales contact: *****
    tech contact : *****

    type : Nonprofit
    start date : Mon Dec 19 00:00:00 2011
    end date : Sat Dec 22 00:00:00 2012
    max. virtual servers: 10
    max. slots : 512

    I have solved the problem.

Outlook 2013 had corrupted the key file.

Then I go on my Web-Email and the file was encoded in base64.
    I've downloaded and use the linux command: cat licensekey.dat | base64-d> licensekey.dat2
    And it has generated great.

    works great now

    Thank to: potablava (forum user)

    Best Regards
