No they cant its only you and your friend that can see that
As long as you double click the person and type directly to them it is secure. However if you are typing in the channel its self and there are only 2 of you, your chat isn't guaranteed safe because someone can set the server up to sneak in a query client and hide it from everyone and then register for channel text messages and park it in the same channel as you. You would have no idea, no way of seeing it at all but it would get a copy of everything anyone type in the channel. Invisible spying :S

in my teamspeak, randoms constantly come and keep advertising in my teamspeak and taking the people away from it, I need to ban them but I dont know who advertise, so is there anyway to be able to see private messages and channel messages on my server?
The server does not store any messages.
Private Messages can only be seen by the user who send and receive.
Other chat logging must be enabled in the client, although channel chat you only see from the current channel.
Best would be to remove permission to use any chat or message from default group.
ik but arnt these messages sent through the server? why they are not logged ?
I'd say because of privacy.
TeamSpeak is made in Germany and as you might know from the news, people here are really concerned about spying because of their country's history.
idk but it is normal that any Server have chat logs.. for security reasons.
what if someone send links to infected Malware sites? what if someone use the crash code bug?
it definitely need to be logged.
Then it is something, that did happen in the past and nothing for prevention. People should never click on links from users they do not know
Simple. Update your client to the latest version. It's fixed already.
Chats will not be logged on the server.
When sending me private messages: Please make sure to include reference link to your forum thread or post.

Hello,
I suspect someone of doing reprehensible actions by law. Can I get private messages made on my own teamspeak server?
Thank you
