What is the best way to backup and migrate my server to the new version? First try was a fail for me and I lost access to my original server. I have access back now thanks to Putty but need help with this migration as I have been searching google and these forums for 2 days. I am very sorry if this has been asked before.

Getting an error saying the server is too old and needs to upgrade, as it does not recognize the new clients.
Is there a way to do this WITHOUT redoing the whole damn thing...
(As it is a big server and ALOT of work keeping it afloat as it is)
What files pertain to the clients and the channels in the server and I will restore those and ONLY those if it comes necessary, as we back this up regularly.

The reason why the server shows an old er version is easy to explain.
You did start the old version or you did not overwrite the server.
To make a clean start just delete the old server directory.

A backup will not help you. You should read the server log for error and make sure your user who started the server has all permissions to write and read files in your server folder.
About the backup:
Scroll up to this post and then follow step 3 (optional 3.1).
Or copy the whole server folder.

Hello,
I was using TS in CentOS 7 server. I need to migrate the old TS to another CentOS 7 server. I already installed fresh copy TS in the new server but I need all old channels and configuration. How can I migrate my old TS channels and configuration to the new server?
I already deleted the new server ts3server.sqlitedb and uploaded old server ts3server.sqlitedb but it did not work.
Kindly please help me. Which files I need to replace so that my old TS server channels and configuration I can get back.
Thank So Much In Advanced

Hello,
I stop the previous server and created a backup. Then I set up a new TS server in the new CentOS 7 server. Then I replaced these files:
query_ip_blacklist
query_ip_whitelist
ts3server
files
logs
After that I tried to start the server:
systemctl start teamspeak
and its giving me following error:
teamspeak.service - TeamSpeak Server Service
