    Client won't run on Linux Mint 17

    This appears if I run it in a terminal:

    From what I understand, you either don't have locales installed or a locale isn't set. Do sudo apt-get install locales and try it again. If it still doesn't work do sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales.

    locales was already installed, so I did sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales, which didn't solve the problem.

    It looks like your locale isn't set properly. That dpkg command should've fixed it, but I don't know Mint too well. For now, run TS in a terminal like you did in the first post, but put "LC_ALL=en_FI.UTF-8" before the command so it looks something like this:

    LC_ALL=en_FI.UTF-8 /home/viktor/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64/ts3client_runscript.sh

    Now the output has one more line at the top. It can't change locale for some reason.
    Code:
    /bin/bash: warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_FI.UTF-8)

    It looks like that locale isn't generated. Type "sudo locale-gen en_FI.UTF-8" into a terminal and try running TS again. If that doesn't work, try running the command in my previous post, but with en_US instead of en_FI to see what happens.
