    Unhappy Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes

    I'm running Windows Server 2008 and trying to install a fresh copy of TS using MariaDB. I've tried 32 and 64 bit and have the same results. It will create the tables in the DB then just just quit.

    Code:
    2014-10-18 21:36:48.655395|INFO    |ServerLibPriv |   | TeamSpeak 3 Server 3.0.11.1 (2014-10-15 07:06:31)

    2014-10-18 21:36:58.696969|CRITICAL|SQL           |   | db_CreateTables() unable to create tables

    I'm not having issues with MariaDb with my other applications only this one. Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Unless you are running hundreds of servers, using MariaDB isn't a good idea anyway.

    Regardless I'd still like to know why this is happening on a fresh install.

    It's an error in your DB, when you use latin1 as your charset.

    Error Configuring Server With MySql (MariaDB Update)

    I'm trying to configure my TS3 Server x64 (3.0.11.1) in Windows Server 2008 R2.
    I'm using MySql 5.6 and i created a database named ts3_db. When i start my TeamSpeak 3 Server some tables appears at MySql Database but ts3server log displays this error:

    2014-12-08 13:34:25.088867|ERROR |DatabaseQuery | | db_exec() CREATE TABLE channel_properties( server_id int unsigned, id int error: Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes
    2014-12-08 13:34:25.088867|CRITICAL|SQL | | db_CreateTables() unable to create tables

    I googled it and the solution indicates that "InnoDB_Large_Prefix ON" should fix this issue, i tried that unsuccesfully.

    [ts3server.ini]
    default_voice_port=9989
    voice_ip=0.0.0.0
    licensepath=
    filetransfer_port=30033
    filetransfer_ip=0.0.0.0
    query_port=10011
    query_ip=0.0.0.0
    dbplugin=ts3db_mariadb
    dbpluginparameter=ts3db_mysql.ini
    dbsqlpath=sql/
    dbsqlcreatepath=create_mariadb/
    logpath=logs
    logquerycommands=1

    [ts3db_mysql.ini]
    [config]
    host=127.0.0.1
    port=3306
    username=root
    password=mypwd
    database=ts3_db
    socket=

    Can anyone help me?

    I Got it Fixed. I modified the parameters in "create_tables.sql" file.

    I attach the link to the fixed SQL file here: https://mega.co.nz/#!IU13EYBL!UqwJWG...XOzbEUrvbs09qA

    This will cause trouble as soon you use a "machine_id" without numbers.

    We hopefully got it fixed in server 3.0.11.2

    I knew that something will happen eventually. It's been working fine for 4 days now and everything seems to be fine but i understand the risks of changing the databases.

    Waiting for the update.
