    Exclamation Un-removable Server groups

    Hi Gents,

I recently have come across a few problems inside a TS3 server. I can't remove two of my server groups because the needed power is 100, the server admin is only 75. Is there a way I can remove these server groups that are over-powering 'Server Admin'?

    Kind Regards,
    Mezo.

Try to reduce needed delete power. If not possible, you must use query. If you do not have access to query, you're screwed.

    Maybe your host can help.
I'm wondering how you got that needed power that high, though.

If you are hosting the server, then you can easily change the serveradmin password so that you can use Server Query. Please see this thread for detailed info: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...word-Look-here
Once you have query access, you can use the command "servergroupaddperm" to change the value of the permissions. For further information about this command, use "help servergroupaddperm" in the server query.
If you wish to delete a server group, you can use the "servergroupdel" ("help servergroupdel" for info) command.

Server query login option - under tools, is locked for some reason.

This is absolutely unrelated to the topic.

This option was removed from the client ages and ages ago. Please update your client.
If you wish to establish a connection to the query interface, please use some telnet client - such as Putty. The default query port is 10011.

He's talking about the login option. However, that won't help him anyway.

Oooh my bad. That will only create a login for you (username + password). You will still have to login via telnet.

He won't have enough permissions with that login. But he doesn't have permissions to create an login, so this doesn't matter anyways.
