    Video Cam And Sharing Desktop

    Hey Teamspeak Team,

what about Video Chat in Teamspeak3?

Teamspeak is better than Skype. But the last we need is a Video Chat :P

    Crazy Idea, I know.

    Best regards xD

    Hi Joshua2504.

    An Little Example:

Your in an Channel with 20 other all want wo use VideoChat. Whitch Monitorsize do you need for 19 Videoframes.

    And the Ts3 Server ? Traffic ???

Use Skype for Video and TS for Speach. Problem Solved.

Add a button for Video Chat ON/OFF.

And a new server group permission. I think we have enough server with a good network speed.

As Sargnagel said before use Skype or any other program. Teamspeak needs no video feature.
I don't think that this would be a useful feature.

With 20 people it may be useless, but if you want to videochat 1-1 or maybe 1 broadcaster and 20 people will see the webcam it will work perfectly.

    I agree with that
1-1 would be fine, even the 20 people, 1 broadcaster idea would be.
But video chatting between 15, maybe 15+ people? Would be useless, as many peoe use teamspeak for communication in Multiplayer games. (As far as I know)
Skype was made for a reason, and has the video chat feature for a reason

    Hi Fspower.

As i Wrote Use Skype for 1 on 1 and in other cases use Special Videochat Software.

I Think that Alcazar write the Baseline : "its called TeamSPEAK, not TeamVIDEO."

If you need this type of Feature? Well ask an Searchengine of your Choice.

    Just one suggestion for it.

You can already do that with Hangouts.

We won't be implementing video chat / streaming in the foreseeable future.

I see the reasons why this would need limitations/restrictions, but I do think it would be a great feature to add. If you want a way to keep clients/customers, you need to innovate. Why should people choose TS over ventrilo, or mumble?? Why would you even recommend another product?

What about being able to embed a twitch channel in the description area? Or expand on what can be embedded on that portion of the client. It just seems the OP came here for a request(as I just did) for a feature that could be useful for him and his group; then people come back at him and say it's not useful, go use something else. And Teamspeak support themselves tell him to use another product. Bad business if you as me. Just my opinion....

On that note, anyone want to join in with me in making the first Audio AND Video chat application developed just for gamers?? It may not be me, but it's going to happen. Trust me

No. Most gamers look ugly and I wouldn't want to see them. Can tell from twitch.
