This whole feature will be nothing else than gm does already, but can be done with 1 with query command only.
To bad if they just ignore it ... The hoster has done everything right in that case.

Actually, it's quite different from using gm... I think the key issue is that (as I already stated) the current shutdown message is hard-coded and not even localized:

Having the ability to provide a custom message for a server shutdown makes a lot of sense.

@wikkedwicky: My TS3UpdateScript is already poking all clients, but some of my customers already asked for a feature, which additional changes the "shutdown" message of the server.

This is currently not possible, because it is hard-coded as ScP said.

The first version of my script sent a text message to each client. Some versions later the script poked each client, because no one realized the text message. Well... Some customers "ran" to their hoster support and asked why the server was shutdown.

As I said: I already done all your suggestions.

The waiting time until a shutdown was about 5 minutes.

I believe you don't understand the sense of the custom shutdown message.

well, if i do maintenance for my servers, i just login as query(or just connect normally to the server), and send message in the server log chat box.but i needed to connect to each virtual server.its some work..haha

but this feature is good too..maybe the query global for the mass message(PM) or mass poke.because if we just show the message in the server log chat box, user(s) often didn't read it. or maybe got lost because of reconnecting messages.

Upcoming server 3.2 will offer the feature to run ServerQuery commands serverprocessstop and serverstop with an optional shutdown message.

    Thats a really amazing feature!
Why does it took so long?
    not on this forum!
May also add a shutdown schedule option?

We plan to add a delay (schedule) for the shutdown after message was send in the next bigger server release.

You mean the feedback from this forum and my reply from 2015?

Of corse the server should not accept any more Query commands or from now on.
