Can't hear anyone, but Teamspeak detects my voice

Hello i am new to TS and i have just installed it on my 32 bit windows 7 computer. Everything was fine, it was able to detect my voice from the mic connected to my headset during the test. Then i joined a server from the server list, i can't hear anyone even though my speakers or mic are not muted... and i'm pretty sure no one can hear me

Have you tried all of these under "You can't hear or talk"?

    No sound in Teamspeak

    Hi guys,

Since a while i sometimes can not hear anything using teamspeak. I do not hear other people talking or hear a sound when i change channel or server. It looks like teamspeak is totally muted while i can hear other sounds as youtube, spotify etc. I also tried plugging off my headphones and use speakers but it had no result. The weird thing is that it sometimes works fine and the other time it does not..

    OS: Windows 7 x64
    TS client: 3.0.16
Checked and changed my playback devices and using push to talk.
Soundcard drivers are up to date as all my other drivers.

    Anyone has a solution?

Check the audio mixer setting to ensure its giving audio to TeamSpeak itself. Beyond that, I'd check your windows audio settings.

    Hi guys,

I discovered something weird today but it may be the cause to my "no hearing problem".
The problem always occures when i start up or play FIFA 15..

    Anyone has the same problem?

Have you altered the sound settings at all within FIFA? Occasionally depending on what sound quality you set something at, it will take exclusive rights over the sound driver and thus kill your sound on everything else. Sadly, switching my applications to WASAPI sound output always kills all my other audio due to the exclusive permissions. Are you running TeamSpeak in admin permissions?

Yes i have done that, checked them, but no settings that kill all the other sound. The game only silence 80% of all the other sounds while i am playing. It is also strange that it does not only occure when i am playing FIFA 15 but also stays when i have allready closed it and even rebooted my PC. After about 5 minutes the sound of teamspeak comes back..

Does FIFA have any in-game voice options? Have you looked at the audio mixer on windows?
