Teamspeak 3 does not work outside lan with 2 NIC's enabled

I have an issue to where Teamspeak will not connect a user outside of my LAN when I have 2 active Network Cards running Windows 7 Professional. If I disable to network card teamspeak works great, if I enable it, no one outside of my internal network can connect.

I am running Teamspeak vers 3.0.11.2 on Windows (7 Pro)

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this issue, When running on Windows Server 2008 with 2 NICS it works great.

[ code ] block pretty please.
Check your firewall and routing. I don't see any other reasons.
Also, make sure you didn't bind TS to a specific IP.

I did not do any specific install, Would it help to uninstall and then Reinstall?? I will try that and see if it works. Sorry about the CODE posting.

Just a question, How would I bind TeamSpeak to a specific IP address.. As for the Firewall it is not running, also it works with the internal lan NIC is disabled, and stops working when it is on. I can connect to it at anytime from inside the lan, but not outside of the lan.

Also, Uninstalled and Reinstalled no help... It only works with the Inside Lan card disabled.

You have two default gateways configured!!

    173.12.236.118 and 192.168.1.1

This isn't a recommended setup. The rule of thumb should be one computer, many network adapter, but only one default getway. Hence the name default gateway.

Even Microsoft warns his customers to configure more then one default gateway because it can result in total network chaos. ==> http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...twork-gateways

The better solution would be configure one default gateway on the main network adapter, remove on all others and use static routes if you have multiple subnets on any other network.

With two default gateways you practically tell the computer it can reach any network adress using any of his network adapters, which in most setups with more than one network adapter isn't true (or desired).

It works perfectly on Windows XP and Server 2008R2, but not on Windows 7... Seems like MS has introduced another bug... Never had this problem before.. Will try it there way,.... UGH... Hate taking a working system and changing it. But it is working now... Why does this work perfectly with Server 2008 and XP, but not 7... Makes no sense....

It shouldn't have done, and it certainly isn't a bug. You will have got errors / warnings when trying to set up the second default gateway.

A default gateway will be used when there is no other defined path to the destination. When you gave the internal adapter it's IP address it would have set up a route for the 192.168.1.0/24 network so a default gateway on the interface isn't necessary

It doesn't. If you didn't run into any issues, this means, you didn't look close enough.

It is working now and all is well... We can mark this one as resolved. Hopefully it will help someone else in the future with a similar problem.

It would help others if you posted the fix (if it was anything other than having two default gateways)

Only thing that fixed it was going to 1 Default Gateway... Nothing else was done.
