Help: Cannot change permissions to stop guests kick/ban

Sorry for not beeing a native speaker and posting a noobish question :-(

I got the problem on a 3.0.11 /FreeBSD that guests can still kick even users in the server admin server group.

After some trying I did also a permreset via serverquery to start all new over.

Now still the guests can kick... for my understanding I had a look in the guest server group for the permission "i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power" which is NOT set. Additionally I see in total 4 permissions when I use the filter/search function with the keyword "kick" in the guest server group - and non of them is set (they are greyed out).

Well - then lets set that i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power to a very high level - but trying to do so i ran into a "insufficient permission modify power" issue.

side note: I am using a client and got into the server admin group using the token created on the server query. My server admin group has (i guess thats standard) a i_permission_modify_power value and grant of 75.

I found the thread http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...t-aid-quot-kit but cannot make sense of it

Is there any good soul out there with some minutes to help me out of this?

There are many other ways a user can get permissions... not only via his servergroup. Have you checked channels and channel_groups? The function "permission overview" (found by right clicking on a user, at permissions) will show you where the permissions is set and what value it has.

    Thanks for your answer!

This are the permissions exported from a guest users permission overview:

    Code:
    Server Gruppen
    	Guest
    		b_virtualserver_info_view 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_channel_list 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_client_list 1 0 0
    		b_channel_join_permanent 1 0 0
    		b_channel_join_temporary 1 0 0
    		i_channel_join_power 10 0 0
    		i_channel_subscribe_power 75 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_servergroup_list 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_channelgroup_list 1 0 0
    		i_client_max_channel_subscriptions -1 0 0
    		i_client_talk_power 10 0 0
    	Alle
    		b_virtualserver_info_view 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_channel_list 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_client_list 1 0 0
    		b_channel_join_permanent 1 0 0
    		b_channel_join_temporary 1 0 0
    		i_channel_join_power 10 0 0
    		i_channel_subscribe_power 75 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_servergroup_list 1 0 0
    		b_virtualserver_channelgroup_list 1 0 0
    		i_client_max_channel_subscriptions -1 0 0
    		i_client_talk_power 10 0 0
    Client
    Channel
    	Lobby
    		i_client_needed_talk_power 10
    Channel Gruppen
    	Guest
    		i_group_needed_modify_power 75
    Channel Client
    Alle
    	b_virtualserver_info_view 1 0 0
    	b_virtualserver_channel_list 1 0 0
    	b_virtualserver_client_list 1 0 0
    	b_channel_join_permanent 1 0 0
    	b_channel_join_temporary 1 0 0
    	i_channel_join_power 10 0 0
    	i_channel_subscribe_power 75 0 0
    	b_virtualserver_servergroup_list 1 0 0
    	b_virtualserver_channelgroup_list 1 0 0
    	i_group_needed_modify_power 75 0 0
    	i_client_max_channel_subscriptions -1 0 0
    	i_client_talk_power 10 0 0
    	i_client_needed_talk_power 10 0 0
    Looks pretty standard to me?

Solved it by a complete deinstall-reinstall
