    TeamSpeak3 autostart Linux Debian 5

    English
    The script in the folder "etc/init.d/" move under the name teamspeak3.
    In the script change the dates "tsdir" and "tsuser".

    Code:
    #!/bin/bash

    tsdir="/home/ts/ts3/"
    tsuser="ts"

    cd $tsdir

    case "$1" in
    start)
    echo "Starting Teamspeak as $tsuser:"
    su $tsuser ./ts3server_startscript.sh start
    echo "."
    ;;
    restart)
    echo "Restarting Teamspeak as $tsuser:"
    su $tsuser ./ts3server_startscript.sh stop
    su $tsuser ./ts3server_startscript.sh start
    echo "."
    ;;
    stop)
    echo "Stoping Teamspeak as $tsuser:"
    su $tsuser ./ts3server_startscript.sh stop
    echo "."
    ;;

    esac
    Then drill the 2 commands and already TeamSpeak 3 will start automatically.
    Code:
    chmod 775 /etc/init.d/teamspeak3
    Code:
    update-rc.d -f teamspeak3 defaults

    The post you're using is almost 4 years old and things change in such a long time, so you'll need to adapt it or find something else.

    Why isn't Teamspeak itself providing a service for the windows server and such a script for linux servers?

    That is like if you would ask why it doesn't provide installer for server.
    Perhaps it is because it's not desired that everyone(even those who don't know how to configure stuff) will install it.
