    TS3 server running on Win2012 R2 Standard file transfer problems

    Hello. I have privately hosted dedicated server, currently in Norway and have RDP access to it, and access to Administrator account. Its been a while since I have been running TS3 server, so I'm a bit rusty, but trying to keep up.

    What my problem is from the beginning is that ts3 server was not reading ini file for some reason even though I did pass it the correct parameter in batch file script which is starting up and monitoring if server is running and if not it restarts it.

    Code:
    @echo off
    :start
    C:\Windows\System32\tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq ts3server_win64.exe" 2>NUL | C:\Windows\System32\find /I /N "ts3server_win64.exe">NUL
    if "%ERRORLEVEL%"=="0" goto loop
    echo Server monitored is not running, will be started now
    start "" /wait "C:\teamspeak3server\ts3server_win64.exe" inifile=ts3server.ini
    echo Server started succesfully
    goto started
    :loop
    cls
    echo Server is already running, running monitoring loop
    :started
    C:\Windows\System32\timeout /t 10
    C:\Windows\System32\tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq ts3server_win64.exe" 2>NUL | C:\Windows\System32\find /I /N "ts3server_win64.exe">NUL
    if "%ERRORLEVEL%"=="0" goto loop
    C:\Windows\System32\taskkill /im ts3server_win64.exe
    goto start
    ts3server.ini
    Code:
    machine_id=
    default_voice_port=9987
    voice_ip=0.0.0.0
    filetransfer_port=30033
    filetransfer_ip=0.0.0.0

    dbsqlcreatepath=create_sqlite/
    dbconnections=10
    logpath=logs
    logquerycommands=0
    dbclientkeepdays=90
    logappend=0
    query_skipbruteforcecheck=0
    query_ip_whitelist.txt

    127.0.0.1
    XX.XX.XXX.XX // my web server IP from which I was trying to setup web control panel but gave up

    Currently TS3 server is installed as service by using NSSM and it is reading inifile because I see it is from the logs.

    I know that you guys dont support running server in this way, but anyway I start it, I have the same problem. File transfer is not operational, and I am out of ideas. At this point it can just as well be permission error ( because we are trying all kinds of things to make it work ) or compatibility with Windows 2012 and some security system preventing files from being uploaded. Might as well be that database got corrupted in the process which is quite likely.

    We are trying to setup all the channels in cyrilic and most of the times in logs, name of the channel is displayed as bunch of characters like :

    Code:
    2015-03-10 23:57:15.793262|INFO    |VirtualServer |  1| file upload to (id:0), '/icon_1529714781' by client 'MoFeR'(id:18)
    2015-03-10 23:57:40.208616|INFO    |VirtualServer |  1| permission 'i_icon_id'(id:142) with values (value:1529714781) was added by 'MoFeR'(id:18) to channel '---| Кантина'(id:18)
    2015-03-10 23:57:40.215616|INFO    |VirtualServerBase|  1| channel '---| Кантина'(id:18) edited by 'MoFeR'(id:18)
    Edit:
    Interesting, that your forum converts those characters to readable. Here is pastie instead.

    It doesn't support UTF8? Is this the main culprit? I dont know, we tried creating channel on Latin with 0 permissions on everything and same thing happens. It look like I can upload a file, file transfer completes, but if I try to download or delete that file it gives me "file input/output error" and if I check in the channel on the server, file is not there.

    Please help me resolve this issue, I dont know what else to do, if I need to reinstall it I will do it, I just dont want same issues again. I can send you my database for inspection. I hope I will hear soon from you.

    Looks like I'm going to reply to myself ( no disrespect ).

    It was a database problem. I deleted entire instance, re-downloaded fresh copy, started, stopped, installed as service again and running without a hitch. File transfer works. I'm curious to know what happened. If anyone of the mods or devs who can inspect the database and see if there is any culprit there I have a copy and will send it your way.

    Cheers.
