Announce by name whos joining

So just as the title says I am wondering if it is possible to have my team speak server set up so when i am in game and I can't see my team speak window and someone joins it tells me their name vs user has joined your channel. Has anyone or tech support figured out how to do this?

Change your current soundpack to TTS (Default Text to Speech).
Or use an overlay like overwolf to see the name.

and that will tell me the name of the person that joined the channel? I help run a rust server so i have alot of things open on my screens i usually try and keep my team speak up but sometimes it falls behind something and i like to say hello to whoever joins. If that will fix it that would be awesome.

oh and if i do what you suggested will that only changed it for me or for the whole channel.

It's a local client setting.

There is no build in feature for this.
You need something like a bot doing it then. Please use the forum search or google if something like this does exist.

Hello Everyone,

I am server admin for my teamspeak. I am still new to running my own server, and i use it for a few MMO games that me and friends play.

I was wondering if someone can help me with how or what settings I use in order to announce when a player enters a channel by their client name.

Currently when someone logs into teamspeak and they enter a channel there is an announcement of "User has entered your channel". I would like it to announce them by name, ex. "Thanatos has entered your channel"

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

This is a client-side setting. You can't control it from server side.
