Change Country Flag settings on serverside

    Hi there,

I am searching for a long time for a possibility to hide the country flags on "every" client on the whole server, but i cannot find any option to do it. Every post i read concerning this topic says you can disable it client-side and so on. But it should be disabled on the whole server for everyone and not only for one specific client.

    Any guesses?

This is client setting only and not possible with the server.

Are there any plans to add this function on serverside because it is a really annoying and unnecessary feature.

If clients think it's unnecessary they'll turn it off

There is no way to turn this off from the server side.
I don't want to repeat this anymore.

    1. The thread title says it
    2. I did say it in post #2
    3. And I did tell you it's a client option only
    4. I also toled you that we rejected this as a server feature

And why do you reject thinking about an useful function?

Because it's not a useful function? (but is already built in to the client)

Im programming myself and the statement "there is no way" is just a lie. It is easy to set an option to disable this feature. Plus, it will speed up Teamspeak due it doesn't need to search in the database for the user IP. So, in fact it IS a useful function, the ts team is just to lazy to add this feature or atleast make it possible to write a serverplugin for it.

You could atleast tell me, in which file the local stored ip2flag is saved.

Teamspeaks Systems defines what is "useful" and what to include in their product, not rambling customers.
You can always use another product which has the desired functions or build your own program.

lol, ts in general is nice, but there are some parts that need a rework. If i could get some more informations about the database, where the flags are saved i could handle it myself.

This is NOT A SERVER function to begin with. This is a client function.
That's why it is not possible - there's nothing in the server that controls it, at all. Never was.

once again: i only need the path of the database, where the information is saved. i can handle the other work myself.

There's no path. This data is not in the server, never was.
