Modify Channel Name ignores Modify Power?

    hey,

I have set the Channel Modify Power to 50 and enabled Modify Channel Name for a group. All channels have 75 Needed Channel Modify Power as default.
With this setup the user with in the group can edit all Channel Names.

Is this a bug? Does the Modify Channel Name ignore the Modify Power or did I something wrong?

    Works fine here.
<22:02:18> insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_modify_power)

Open your permisions overview and then compare your real i_channel_modify_power.

Edit: I have to use i_channel_modify_power? If yes, can I set a global default value for this?

This is not the permission overview.
Right-click the user/or yourself and then choose permissions -> permission overview.
Then enter the permission into the filter.
The bottom will show you the end value (combined of groups , skipped permissions etc)

Make sure your group does not skip channel permisions. In that case all permissions from a channel will be skipped.
We did explain this in forum mayn times before.

I have already found the issue. I have used i_channel_permission_modify_power which is the wrong permission for the channel edit. Unfortunately is i_channel_modify_power not set for all channels as default so I can't allow the specific group to edit channels only in a specific area.
