Hosting a server, but connecting without IP?

    Hi guys.
I've been hosting a Teamspeak server for me and my friends to use and I didn't mind giving them my IP. But the group is growing now, and more people are wanting to use the server. However I don't know a lot of them and I don't really want to give them my IP so I was wondering if there was a way I could host my own server from my PC (so not paying a hosting service) but let people connect by putting something else in the connection bar other than my IP, like a web address?

If you are asking such questions, your only way is to rent a server. Since you have zero networking knowledge.

Someone is phoning you and that guy want that you visit him at home. But the guy don't want to give you his address, because that is private. How you should visit him, without knowing the street, house number, city and country? Of course, you can check every house on this world, but it would take years, if not decades.

Same with computer services like TS3 server or web hosting. Of course you can try to connect to every IP address on this world, but it would take years until you find the right TS3 server. The only solution: Rent a server (or a single TS3 server). In this case another computer with a different IP address host the public services and your own IP address keeps private (more or less, but that's another story).

maybe you are asking if 'unknown user(s)' can connect to your server without knowing your IP?
    my answer is yes.
    1. you can enable server list, then the 'unknown user(s)' can connect from server list
    2. you can also use dynamic DNS.works like normal DNS but it updated when you change your IP...just google it.
the downside of above method, user can still see your IP.no way to hide it..

but, then again, if your community is growing, i do suggest you host it on a dedicated machine.such as VPS and such.
or you can just request a 'dedicated IP' to your ISP and assign it to your 'home server'.
or you can just make 2 server. one for your friends, one for your community.its a separate server.

    This is not possible!
He don't want that other know his IP and that is impossible.
