    No Playback but mic works

    Hi,

I have my headset and speakers set as the same device (speakers), but get no sound on either no matter what playback setting I have. My mic works in the mic test section (can see the bars go up, but don't hear myself) and the playback test section does not work. The speakers and headset playback works in all other applications. I've tried reinstalling. Any ideas?

Please read the part "You can't hear or talk?"
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...of-information

Deactivated devices do have one of following reasons:
    - The selected Playback or Capture device is not availabe
--> check your client Settings and select the right device or set Default as the device
    --> check your OS settings

    - The Capture or Playback profile is not active in current tab
-> Check the bookmark (with "more" enabled)
-> check Self Tab for a selected Capture / Playback profile

I had to delete 2 posts above, after merging next post.
This would be the 4th post from same author, with same problem

Playback not working, works for other applications.

I'll provide as much information as I can.

    My teamspeak playback setting is:

Playback mode: Always use best mode.
    Playback Device: Default

Yet I cannot hear the test sound. All other applications can play sound just fine. I have Realtek Digital output as my sound driver/card, and have it set up in their driver software to where I have a single output device (called speakers) for both of my output devices (speakers and headphones). That way, I can turn off the speakers and use the headphones without having to do any software configuration. As soon as I set this up, teamspeak no longer plays sound. My microphone test works in teamspeak however.

    - Make sure you do use the latest Realtek HD Audio Driver R2.76.
    - Also do check which device or output in your list does play the sound.
    - Check your mixer settings to ensure TeamSpeak 3 is listed and not muted.
