    You either have another server group which allows to ban for only two hours, or you have a client permission / channel client permissions that limit your bantime.

    If you have two server groups and one allows infinite ban while the other allows 2 hours, the 2 hours will be taken since 7200 > -1. If you want to have two server groups and allow both to ban you will need to check the negate checkbox on i_client_ban_max_bantime on the server group, which makes it so that the lowest value from all server groups is taken if you are in that group. As such your -1 bantime would be used and you are allowed to ban indefinitely.

    You are not allowed to ban permanent.
    Set your permission i_client_ban_max_bantime to -1 to allow a permanent ban.

    To ban problem

    Hi all,

    Being server admin, I can not ban permanent and I do not understand why.
    i_client_ban_power = 75
    i_client_ban_max_bantime = 100000000

    Thanks

    Permanent is -1. Also, you might want to set negated flag, because this is lower than other limited times.

    Unable to perma ban?

    Hey guys, kind of a noob with teamspeak so please bear eith me. So the problem I am having is when I try to ban someone from client list permanantly, it turns the drop boxes red and the ok button is greyed out. I cleared the ban list trying to see if that helped but it did not. Now when the person I was trying to ban came in, i was able to ban him by right clicking him and banning. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Your value for permission i_client_ban_max_bantime is set to 7200 somewhere.
    The value must be set to -1 if you want to ban permanent.
