Need help with domain - Remove port

    Hello,

I know that there are SOOO many threads about this already but none of them help me.

I have a domain. 'mydomain.com'. I want my TeamSpeak server to be 'ts.mydomain.com'. When I try to set it up with my domain using a CNAME to the domain the hosting company gave me: 'ts.hostingdomain.com:9035', I get need to use 'ts.mydomain.com:9035' to connect. Is there a way (probably a SRV record that I can't figure out) to remove the port without TS3DNS because it is now a paid service. If you show me how in a SRV record, please make it very detailed so I can follow. Thank you.

It all depends on your domain provider and the tools they offer you.
There are lots of threads out there, some of which even have generic answers as to what things usually are labeled and what goes where.
When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.
