Can't find TS3Client folder to backup bookmarks

    Hi guys,

I've been trying this for a while but no luck to find the folder. I've tried:

    %ProgramW6432%\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config\
    %ProgramFiles%\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config\
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config\
    %APPDATA%\TS3Client\

And any other location I could think of that could hold config files. I've also tried searching my whole system for anything containing "TS3" or even just "team". No joy.

    I'm using Win7 64 and TS 3.0.12.

    Thanks!

Search for ts3clientui_qt.secrets.conf or settings.db on your computer.
This should find the path for you.

If thats your client version, its a bit old isnt it? Consider updating to most recent version 3.0.17 .

Thanks a bunch. settings.db seems to be in the main client installation folder in \Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client.

The other file is in \config into that same folder.

    But I couldn't find any bookmarks.ini anywhere.

I'll keep the whole \config, just in case.

    Thanks again.

Please update your client to 3.0.17.
You ask about things that are outdated since years!

A bookmark.ini does not exist anymore.

The file bookmarks.ini "disappeared" with client release 3.0.9

    === Client Release 3.0.9 10 Oct 2012
+ Changed the storage format of the configuration files to a SQLite database.
Conversion is done automatically the first time the client is started, all
affected files will be moved to a backup folder.

It was the information I could find...

But it worked like a charm. Settings, id, and bookmarks all carried over to the other computer.

Thank you very much for the support!

    transfer bookmarks

I have TS client 3.0.18 and want to move my bookmarks to my new computer.

I tried the steps in http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/1...ckup-bookmarks

but cannot find either file. I do have hidden files viewable.

    Does anyone have another suggestion?

The settings.db must be exported and imported to the new client to get bookmarks and settings back.
The ts3clientui_qt.secrets.conf must be imported, when you want your server passwords, and permissions back!

    No "TS3Client"-folder in AppData\Roaming

    Hello

For any reason my windows is broken an before I reinstall it I want to save my TS3 identity and my bookmarks in the safe mode.

    No I have two problems:
    1) The folder C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\TS3Client isn't existing and I also can't find it anywhere else (I searched through all data on my PC)
    2) In the windows safe mode I can't open TS3 to export the identity

I would be very grateful if someone has tips in this case for me!
    Best regards,
    Marius_25
