Teamspeak Crashing choosing icon, avatar, file or moving users on a Dell / Alienware

    Hello there!

I've been plagued with a bit of an issue as of late, and not quite sure how to resolve it.
For some reason, Ts3 crashes when changing my avatar, or attempting to, that is.

Upon clicking "Change Avatar", i'm prompted with choosing it, about 3 seconds after, bam, it crashes, whether I click something within my system window (C:/User/Desktop, etc), or whether I just wait, it'll crash.

I've no idea as how to fix this, fresh reinstalls, scans, pretty much nothing has proven to solve this, and even the 3.0.17 update failed to help this.

If anyone has a suggestion, or can help me, that'd be great.

    Respond when you may,
    -Greedy

Please deactivate or deinstall Dell's / Alienware's backup software.
This software (which uses a DBROverlayIconBackuped.dll) does crash our clients when you want to do anything with files on your hard drive.

Or do not upload icons, avatar, identity, files at all when you still want to use the backup software.

Remove or disable Dell Backup / Alien Respawn. These applications are known for crashing our client in certain configurations when accessing the local file system through the "select file dialog".

TeamSpeak does not use the DBROverlayIconBackuped.dll. It is used from Dells backup software.
It's the backup software accesing TeamSpeak with that dll while you want to do something with files on your hard drive.

We are working on a solution (we try to find a way to solve this), but till there is none do what i said in post #3.

Client crashing when trying to Upload Icon.

I go into Server Groups to try and Upload an Icon to a Server Group. I hit the Upload Button, the file thing opens. Then the TS crashes.

    Crash on uploading to servers

I have a big problem. When ever i try to upload an icon or file onto a teamspeak server my ts crashed. i have uninstalled teamspeak and downloaded it thinking it was that problem but nope it didn't work it was a clean install. thing is this only happens on my laptop but not my desktop and they both have the same client.

i am not sure on how to find my error log so if someone could tell me i will post the log in here.

TS3 Random Crashing for multiple reasons

So, I'm running on Windows 7 Pro. I've done a clean install today and it still hasn't fixed my issue. I can't click and drag as it freezes and closes my TS, I also can't Export my ID, and I can't open file browser. All those features of Team speak crash my client and I have no idea why. There could still be more things that cause it to crash, however those are the only three I've encountered so far. If anyone has a fix it all, PLEASE let me know as these are features that I commonly use and cannot use any more.

    avatar problems

I too cannot upload an avatar without the client crashing out, and when I try to get said Log you guys want, it is empty. Any way to fix the issue at all? Or is the new version of TS3 broken for me? I see my other members switching avatars around as they please. While I crash if I try to set one at all.....
