    Unable to Connect to "typefrag.com" server

    Hey guys I'm having an issue here trying to connect to a teamspeak server. I have been able to access other teamspeaks, and this server seems to be the only one I'm unable to enter. I know the server managers and they have told me that I'm not banned so thats not the problem. I have tried a few things I have found searching for error such as DNS change, forwarding specific ports, 9987, 10011, and 30033. But have been no help. If you know of anything please let me know!     There is the problem right there - The address does not resolve properly, as such there is nothing to connect to.
    In other words, that subdomain / address does not exist.
    When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.

    There are other people who connect to the server using the same information I type in though(verified through print screens where they show said log in to memeserver.typefrag.net). So far I have been the only person unable to connect to it.

    Unable to Connect to Typefrag servers?

    Lately I have been unable to connect to a specific server. It worked just fine till about 3 days ago, my friends are in the server and say it works just fine. Tried updating/reinstalling client and no luck.
    I'm also able to connect to other servers without problem

    This is the clientlog for the room I'm currently trying and failing to log into. I can connect to other servers, but this is the second server with the typefrag tag on it that I cannot connect to. Any ideas what the problem is? TIA

    Ask them. If you ask them, please also ask them why their DNS configuration is invalid according to RFC 2782.

    Also, for connecting using the dns I should try the following:
    In your PC --> network settings --> protocol TCP-IP V4 properties, indicate "DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8".

    Even though they point their SRV record to a CNAME record instead of an A record as demanded by the specification, pretty much all programs (including dig, nslookup and the TeamSpeak client) will resolve such an SRV record correctly.

    Try to connect to 52.24.200.36:7605

    Oh, typefrag.com ... you are not alone in this (just use search...)

    In your case, the SRV Record indicates port 9710 for your server.

    Try with patchwerk.typefrag.com:9710
    or also kulanite.typefrag.com:9710

    If that works and you want to use the name without port, you could try this trick:
    In your PC --> network settings --> protocol TCP-IP V4 properties, indicate "DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8".

    This is a Typefrag server. Their SRV records are invalid, so DNS servers that work properly do not resolve it. They rely on the fact that most DNS servers are bugged and resolve this into the following IP: 52.6.76.66:9710
    It is actually an error if you can connect to that server. Not being able to connect is the correct behavior for a computer.

    Can't connect to typefrag server

    I was booted off this server a couple of days ago and cant get back on whenever try it just says failed to connect to server. I have check with my mates and I'm not on the ban list I copy pasted the client log below.

    Contact the hoster and ask for the right server adress or ip.

    sterling.typefrag.com resolves an IP address that does not have a server on port 9987 running.
    I can't connect either.

    the servers port is 8790 I train the address to reflect this but still cant connect.
